The last seminar on textbooks from Albania and other South-eastern European countries took place in Tirana, and attracted 30 participants from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. The seminar, which is part of a three-year long project, was organised by the Georg Eckert Institute and financed by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
Half the seminar focussed on how to deal with visual sources and historiography in textbooks and examined teaching modules and other input; it was led by Klaudija Sabo and Petar Todorov. The other half was devoted to further work in small groups, supervised by Donika Xhemajli, and to public presentations and discussion of the material. The seminar presented the opportunity for participants to establish networks for future cooperation.
